The Carolina Hurricanes are up 2-0 in the series after winning Games 1 (2-0) and Game 2 (3-2) as the series shifts to Ottawa. However, before we focus on Game 3, what should Hurricanes fans be concerned about or not concerned about? On the Wednesday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, Zach shares his thoughts on what fans should not be concerned about. One of them is Frederik Andersen, who has a sub-1.00 goals against average and a .967 save percentage. Despite the one soft goal he gave up in Game 2, Andersen has been lights out for the Hurricanes through the first two games. Zach also discusses how the depth and physicality have worked in the Hurricanes' favor, especially as the game went into double overtime on Monday night. Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on what could be legitimate concerns, despite being up 2-0 in the series. One of them is the star players of Andrei Svehcnikov and Seth Jarvis not being on the scoresheet yet. Regarding Jarvis, he has two shots through two games and seems like he's in his head. For Sevchnikov, he has 13 shots through the first couple of games, but have they been quality shots? Also, he took an unnecessary penalty that was thankfully killed off on the penalty kill. Could he be walking a thin line already with the officiating crew? Another concern is the quality of shot selection. While the Hurricanes are outshooting the Senators, are they making Linus Ullmark work, or just peppering him until something goes in? Finally, Zach concludes the show by talking about Spiros Anastas being named the 15th head coach in Chicago Wolves history.
