Health Minister Mark Butler is expected to announce measures to curb the growing cost of the scheme later today.
The NDIS is set to cost more than 50 billion dollars this financial year and it's expected to cost a hundred billion dollars a year by 2036, if the pace of its growth cannot be slowed.
But Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John says people in the disability community are 'disgusted' that their supports and services may be cut.
