Australians eating protein all wrong, CSIRO finds
Published 1 day, 7 hours ago
Description
CSIRO research reveals Australians are consuming adequate protein but distributing it incorrectly across meals, with too much at dinner and too little at breakfast. The organisation has launched a new online tool to help people calculate their individual protein needs and spread intake more effectively throughout the day. Experts recommend 25 to 30 grams of protein per meal from whole foods like eggs, yoghurt, fish and lean meat, rather than relying on ultra-processed high-protein products.
