The Jackson County Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers - Jackson County voted Thursday to officially merge their two organizations into one new union, Education Jackson County. This comes about a year after the state's two teacher's unions annouced their merger. Dave Miller spokes with Education West Virginia Co-President Kristie Skidmore and Education Jackson County Vice President Kara McCutcheon about the endeavor leading to the merger, what it means on the state level and what it means for Jackson County teachers.
