It's our first official Lover song deep dive and today we are discussing some of our favorite songs off the Lover album. We start with the first song on the album, "I Forgot That You Existed" and try to decipher if this song is about Kanye West or Calvin Harris. What do you think after listening?! We then get heated over the lyrics in "The Man" because how did Taylor Swift even write such a perfect song to showcase gender inequality? "Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince" is a complex song and we dive into the political aspects, some anxiety filled Joe lyrics we hadn't noticed before, and how her views of High School have changed over the years (especially from the Fearless era). We end the episode by discussing the classic "Death By A Thousand Cuts". This song has so many layers and so many incredible lyrical components that you definitely won't want to miss this episode.
