En: The autumn winds blew through the tree-lined suburban streets of Johannesburg.
Af: Geel en oranje blare het op die sypaadjies gedans soos die middagson sy sagste strale oor Hoërskool Oakridge gegooi het.
En: Yellow and orange leaves danced on the sidewalks as the afternoon sun cast its softest rays over Hoërskool Oakridge.
Af: Binne die skool se ouditorium was die lug vol verwagting.
En: Inside the school's auditorium, the air was thick with anticipation.
