Amanecer means Dawn in Spanish, and Amanacer is the name of Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater’s production for April 24 through 26. It’ll be at the Luminary Arts Center in Minneapolis. International flamenco figures will augment local dancers and musicians. But why the title Amanacer? At a rehearsal, that’s what Phil Nusbaum asked Zorongo resident artistic director Deborah Elias.
