Description

110. Firelands United

We're joined by Andrew Chwalik, founder of Firelands United - a new club competing in Northern Ohio with grand ambitions.

Firelands is a unique place within Ohio. With roots stretching back to the American Revolutionary War, the region has always had a distinct local identity compared with the rest of the state and those it borders.

Recognising the need for high-level, organised competitive soccer within Firelands, Andrew founded Firelands United to give players a platform, people a voice and a club worthy of representing Firelands.

About Our Guest

Andrew Chwalik

Andrew is a life long football nerd and afficionado of thebeautiful game. He is the former Men’s Head Coach at Terra State Community College. Like in his current role with Firelands United, most soccer programmes he works with are constructed from the ground up. He formerly helped found Delaware Rising, a non-profit amateur team from Delaware, before founding Firelands United, a Minor League Soccer club looking to fill a gap in the demand for high-level organised soccer in north-central Ohio.
