Ro: În mijlocul primăverii, când florile încep să își deschidă petalele, iar soarele se strecoară timid printre norii albi, în căminul studențesc era zarvă mare.
En: In the middle of spring, when flowers begin to open their petals and the sun shyly peeks through the white clouds, there was a great commotion in the căminul studențesc (student dormitory).
Ro: Andrei, cunoscut printre colegi ca "maestrul farselor," își pregătea cea mai complexă farsă de 1 aprilie.
En: Andrei, known among his colleagues as "the master of pranks," was preparing the most complex April Fool's prank.
Ro: Camera de cămin în care stătea cu Mihai, colegul său mai serios, era acoperită de planuri schematice și obiecte ciudate pregătite pentru farsă.
En: The dorm room where he stayed with Mihai, his more serious roommate, was covered with schematic plans and strange objects ready for the prank.
Ro: Andrei voia să creeze o legendă care să se povestească ani buni.

Ro: Totul a mers bine până la punctul culminant când, dintr-o greșeală, comutatorul s-a declanșat accidental.
En: Everything went well until the climax when, by mistake, the switch was triggered accidentally.
