A 12-year-old boy was trapped in the rear doors of a public bus in Wheelers Hill and dragged more than 300 metres down the road. Security footage shows him clinging to a rail inside the bus with his backpack and arm caught in the door, forced to lift his legs to avoid being pulled under the wheels and hitting parked cars. The driver did not realise what was happening until reaching the next bus stop, and the boy is now receiving psychological support for anxiety and PTSD.
