Olathe sweet corn under pressure, farmworker overtime limits, new music from Ballpark!
Description
Tuxedo Corn Company launched the Olathe sweet corn that has become a summer staple in Colorado. But environmental and economic pressures have the farm trying something new. Then, it was only a few years ago that Colorado told farmers they had to start paying workers overtime. Now lawmakers are set to raise the threshold for that benefit. And, the band Ballpark!, which formed while its members were at CSU, shares the story behind a new song.
