Quick action continued the day after as Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds declared Henry County a disaster area, followed by the City of Wayland and Henry County Board of Supervisors doing the same. The declarations help activate individual and public assistance. The dollar damage threshold is $99,000 + before aid is received.
