Jennifer is the Principal of a school for autistic students, and her perspective is uniquely shaped by not only leading transformative educational environments, but also navigating life as the grandmother of an autistic child. Her book, Grandparenting on the Spectrum: A Journey from Both Sides of the Desk, explores exactly what it means to blend advocacy, leadership, and family bonds.
Beyond the classroom, Jennifer founded First Response Autism to train first responders and police in supporting those on the spectrum. She’s passionate about building bridges, whether between educators and families or between communities and law enforcement, and her approach to inclusion is hands-on and heartfelt.
