A's Stun White Sox in Thriller
Description
In a nail-biting finish, the Athletics triumphed over the Chicago White Sox 7-6 in eleven innings. Max Muncys sacrifice fly secured the victory for the As. The White Sox led early with a five-run second inning, but the As fought back, tying the game in the bottom of the second and eventually taking the lead. The White Sox regained the advantage with a two-run homer in the seventh, but Nick Kurtzs two-run shot evened the score. The White Sox left fourteen runners on base and went just 3 for 17 with men in scoring position. Wilson and Kurtz led the As with two hits and two RBIs each. The As will face the White Sox again tomorrow, with Noah Schultz facing Jeffrey Springs.
