This is part one of our animation focused series with our resident Film Instructors, Doc and Kate (No Bustle Podcast). In this episode we focus on some of the influences on early animation and how we perceive it now. We settle on some choices made that would definitely be considered 'distasteful' in modern pop culture and society. We even ask the question of should these classic and pioneering cartoons be locked away for their offensive nature.
