The Phoenix Suns have earned the right to meet the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in the opening round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs. It will be a tall task, but it's one that no one expected the Suns to face given the expectations placed upon them before the season.
Ahead of the series, PHNX Suns' Erik Ruby and Gil McGregor are joined by Brandon Rahbar, Thunder beat writer for the Daily Thunder. Rahbar talks about the Thunder's title defense, the regular-season series between OKC and Phoenix and how the Suns present unique challenges in Round 1.
