Back to EpisodesPrinciple #2 to Help You Reduce or Eliminate Distractions
Description
Today we are talking about Principle #2 to Eliminating Distractions which is to discourage walk-in traffic. Granted, if you're a manager it may be more difficult to do this; but when you set specific times when you're available to talk and accept walk-ins, and times that you don't - it will help you to focus and complete tasks more efficiently. Ideally, scheduling appointments is the most effective way to go, if at all possible. For those who work at home, this rule applies to your family. Establish clear boundaries when you are not to be distracted, unless it’s an emergency like the building is burning down and you need to get out.
Tune in tomorrow for Principle #3 to help you reduce and eliminate distractions from your life. How will you apply the concept from today to create an even better business?
