Episode Details

Tamiya famously has often made their static models into radio-controlled model vehicles, such as the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR in 1976. But have they ever done the reverse and turned legendary R/C land vehicles (such an the Sand Scorcher, Frog, Grasshopper, Hornet, Hotshot, Lunchbox, Neo Fighter, etc.) into static models with glue together styrene hard plastic bodies? Why it why not? In this episode of the RC Deep Dive we dig into the business decision behind these models.
