What We Choose To Become - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thurs. 4-16-26 #1851

Season 10 Episode 1851 Published 1 week ago
Description

“Send Coach John a message”

Looking at a few things this morning and this one got my attention. The reason of course, is that I needed to be reminded of it. It’s from Words of Wise | Mindset Coach (@Wordofwise_) and it’s a quote from Carl Jung who said “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” It reminds me to not focus on the challenging things that I have gone through or currently am going through. Instead, I need to focus on the things that I’ve been able to do that are good and helpful to others; along with to keep on doing to keep serving and making a difference for others. It’s challenging to remember this when tough times are all around us, but there are plenty of examples of others going through it too. We must keep learning lessons every day, along with taking a few moments here and there to have the perspective in our lives to keep getting better. I want to be in the moment, right now to do something I know is good for me to do. Choices that help me to become who I choose to be and not stay weighed down by what I’ve been through before. Deep stuff here that has helped me tremendously and I hope it helps you too.  Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple Podcasts and ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter / “X”:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  - My YouTube Channel is at: Coach John Daly.   Email me at: CoachJohnDalyPodcast@gmail.com     You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top Book list too.  Other things there on my site are being worked on too.  Please let me know that you are reaching out to me from my podcast.  ** I would appreciate anyone to try clicking on the top of the show notes where it says "Send us a text" to leave a few thoughts / comments / questions.  It's a new feature that I'd like to see how it works. **
