Published 3 weeks, 3 days ago
Description

An illegitimate, inappropriate, and indiscriminate restriction on freedoms.

That's according to the The NSW Court of Appeal, after it yesterday struck down the state's anti-protest laws enacted after the Bondi terrorist attack.

The laws gave police the power to make a declaration - preventing the authorisation of public assemblies in certain areas.

The Premier, Chris Minns, says he's disappointed.

  • GUEST: Daniel Mookhey, NSW Treasurer
