Viva Energy secures diesel shipments after Geelong refinery fire

Viva Energy has secured two new diesel shipments totalling 100 million litres following a destructive fire at its Geelong refinery. The purchases from Brunei and South Korea were enabled through a new government scheme that underwrites fuel purchases. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed the news while in Malaysia during an Asian fuel campaign.
