We Need To Talk About The New Christians...
Description
Galatians 2:20, Backdoor Christianity, and the Rise of Orthodox & Nationalist Christian Revival
The episode reflects on choosing Galatians 2:20 for a reader who left occultism for Christianity and uses the verse to define authentic faith as “crucified with Christ” and as being transformed by the Holy Spirit. It contrasts this born-again, relational Christianity with a growing online interest in Orthodox/traditional “churchian” identity tied to culture and politics, arguing that churches' closing doesn’t mean faith isn’t rising outside institutions. The speaker expresses scepticism that the new traditionalist revival is organic, suggesting it may be a reactionary movement shaped to produce Christian nationalism, militarise believers for an approaching religious war, and ultimately discredit religion in favour of a technocratic New Age/Luciferian future. The episode urges peaceful, loving noncompliance with corrupt governments, warning that violent “warrior Christianity” contradicts the Christian call and cannot make disciples through force.
