Virgin Airlines cuts flights amid rising fuel costs
Published 1 week, 1 day ago
Description
Virgin Airlines is reducing domestic flight capacity by 1% from May, targeting lower demand services in response to rising fuel costs and market uncertainty. The carrier will also increase fares and expects to pay up to $40 million more for operations in the second half of the financial year. The move follows similar capacity cuts announced by Qantas.
