Veteran's 300km ANZAC Day tribute walk

A veteran has begun a 300-kilometre walk from Holsworthy Barracks in Sydney to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, ten days before ANZAC Day. Dressed in uniform, he will march 30 kilometres per day to honour Australian soldiers who served and died in World War One. Communities along the route are encouraged to line the road, lay a sprig of wattle, or join the march as it passes through.
