King Charles declines Epstein survivor meetings during US visit
Published 1 week, 1 day ago
Description
King Charles and Queen Camilla will undertake a four-day visit to the United States, including a state dinner at the White House and an address to Congress, before travelling to New York and Virginia. The Royal Family faces mounting pressure to meet with survivors of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including the family of Virginia Giuffre, but Palace sources state such meetings would jeopardise ongoing legal proceedings. The monarch and Queen Consort have declined to meet with Epstein's victims during the upcoming visit.
