Story Transcript:

Sl: Jure je imel idejo.
En: Jure had an idea.

Sl: Organizirati popoln piknik za svoje prijatelje.
En: To organize the perfect picnic for his friends.

En: Everything was blooming, and a sunny morning in Bled couldn't have been better.

En: Marjeta and Vid laughed happily as they arrived at the meadow by the lake, surrounded by tourists enjoying the Easter holidays.

En: Jure wanted to create a special moment, especially for Marjeta.

Sl: »Poglej, Jure je resnicno načrtoval vse,« je Marjeta rekla, ko je videla pokrito piknik odejo in košaro s prigrizki.
En: "Look, Jure really planned everything," Marjeta said when she saw the picnic blanket covered and the basket full of snacks.

En: "Yes, our Jure is full of surprises," joked Vid, while sipping lemonade.

Sl: Sončni žarki so se lesketali na gladini jezera, kjer so labodi mirno plavali.
En: The sun's rays glistened on the lake's surface, where swans swam peacefully.

En: Then one of them observed the group on the meadow with interest.

En: It was a white swan, and when it noticed Jure setting down the basket, it swam closer.

Sl: »O, poglejta!
En: "Oh, look!

Sl: Labod!

En: How fascinatingly close," Marjeta said, approaching the water.

En: The swan, apparently clever, swam even closer and then, as if it had devised a plan, grabbed a bread roll from the basket.

Sl: Marjeta je hitro stopila korak nazaj, presenečena.
En: Marjeta quickly stepped back, surprised.

En: Vid laughed: "Our Jure will have to show his heroics now!"

En: Jure, who was initially shocked, quickly gathered himself.

Sl: »Morali bomo preusmeriti laboda,« je rekel z odločnim glasom.
En: "We need to distract the swan," he said decisively.

En: He looked around and found some bread he had kept hidden.

En: "We won't give it to him so easily," Marjeta commented shortly and started scattering bread crumbs on the other side.

En: Vid encouraged with laughter: "Come on Jure, show your talents!"

Sl: «A labod, preveč prebrisan, je zgrabil celotno košaro in začel plavati stran.
En: But the swan, too clever, grabbed the entire basket and started swimming
