Tonight I welcomed Rochelle and Blair Gordon, the husband-and-wife team collaborating with Highwater Entertainment, a Pacific Northwest faith-based production company committed to telling stories of hope, redemption, and transformation. We explored their breakout feature, The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold—based on the true journey of Denise Reed—from homelessness and deep personal strongholds to freedom through forgiveness and faith.

The Gordons shared how prayerful dependence, community support, and unexpected provision carried the film from a $10,000 start to full funding, and how on-set culture, professionalism, and genuine care shaped a powerful creative environment. We also previewed their next project, So You Want to Marry My Daughter, inspired by real family practices of protection, wisdom, and intentional courtship, and discussed how Highwater aims to build a movement of Christian filmmakers in the Pacific Northwest.
