Cy: Yr oedd modd clywed cân yr adar yn yr awyr glos o ddŵr pêr yn llifo drwy'r dywarchen.
En: The song of the birds could be heard in the close air, with pure water flowing through the turf.

Cy: Cafodd clychau'r Pasg eu clywed yn y pellter.
En: The bells of Easter were heard in the distance.

Cy: Ond, nid oedd popeth yma i'w weld yn dawel yn Nyffryn y Bannau.
En: But not everything here appeared peaceful in Nyffryn y Bannau (Valley of the Bannau).
