Roblox is introducing new safety features including restricted accounts for children and teenagers with facial verification checks, plus expanded parental controls for under-16s. The changes follow pressure from Australian Communications Minister Anika Wells, who raised concerns about children being exposed to inappropriate content on the platform. More than 60 per cent of 6 to 13-year-old Australians played Roblox last year according to Roy Morgan research.
