Sl: Triglavski narodni park je bil poln glasov pomladi.
En: Triglavski narodni park was full of the sounds of spring.

Sl: Zrak je bil svež in ptiči so veselo peli.
En: The air was fresh, and the birds sang happily.

Sl: Dijaki so hodili po poti in se smejali.
En: The students walked along the path, laughing.

Sl: Med njimi sta bila Tadej in Anja.
En: Among them were Tadej and Anja.

Sl: Tadej je vedno govoril o biologiji in redkih rožah.
En: Tadej was always talking about biology and rare flowers.

Sl: Želel je najti cvet, o katerem je bral.
En: He wanted to find a flower he had read about.

Sl: Anja je prišla zaradi prijateljev.
En: Anja came because of her friends.

Sl: Ni marala preveč narave.
En: She didn't care much for nature.

Sl: "Anja, si že slišala za planinski svišč?

En: "I haven't," Anja said, looking around.

Sl: "Ampak zvok ptičev je lep.
En: "But the sound of the birds is lovely.

Sl: To mi je všeč.
En: I like that."

Sl: "Nenadoma se je nebo stemnilo.
En: Suddenly, the sky darkened.

Sl: Začelo je deževati.
En: It started to rain.

Sl: Hitro so se morali skriti pod drevesa.
En: They quickly had to take cover under the trees.

Sl: Učitelj je rekel, da se bodo zamanili nazaj.
En: The teacher said they would head back.

Sl: "Tadej, pojdiva," je rekla Anja, ko so se učenci vračali nazaj.
En: "Tadej, let's go," Anja said as the students were returning.

Sl: "Ne želim zboleti.
En: "I don’t want to get sick."

Sl: ""Prosim," je Tadej vztrajal.
En: "Please," Tadej insisted.

Sl: "Cvet bi moral biti blizu.
En: "The flower should be close.

Sl: Samo enkrat poskusiva.
En: Just one try.

Sl: Za znanost?
En: For science?"

Sl: "Obotavljajoč se, je Anja prikimala.
En: Hesitant, Anja nodded.

Sl: Sledila mu je s stezo navzdol.
En: She followed him down the path.

Sl: Mokra trava je šumela pod njunimi nogami.
En: The wet grass rustled under their feet.

Sl: Dež je bil mrzel, vendar ju ni prestrašil.
En: The rain was cold, but it did not scare them.

Sl: Hodila sta tiho, le Tadej je občasno pogledoval naokrog.
En: They walked quietly, only Tadej occasionally glancing around.
