It's a News Day Monday on The Majority Report On today's program: Trump, Vance and the right-wing media orbit suffers a humiliation after Viktor Orban loses his re-election bid in Hungary.

Trump spends the weekend attending cage fights and posting repeatedly on Truth Social, including an attack on Pope Leo, whom he calls "soft on crime." He also shares an AI-generated image of himself depicted as Jesus Christ healing someone. After facing backlash from Christians, Trump claims he thinks he is portrayed as a doctor because "he makes people feel better." To reinforce that point, he then presents a woman whose husband is undergoing cancer treatment, claiming the president is covering the cost.

Harry Enten presents polling showing that JD Vance's net popularity is cratering and that American's feel like the administration is too focused on foreign affairs. Maria Bartiromo asks Trump if he believes that gas and oil prices will come down before the midterms to which Trump answers with "I think so, could be the same, maybe even higher". Senator John Barrasso claims that Democrats like higher gas prices because it fits their radical climate agenda. In the Fun Half: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani delivers his 100-days-in-office address, invoking FDR's first 100 days. In the speech, he announces five city-run grocery stores, faster buses, and a plan to containerize all trash across the city. Dave Rubin tries to attack Mamdani on his tax and childcare plans by using outdated footage out-of-context in a lazy segment that falls flat on his face.
