A 31-year-old woman is in critical condition with significant head injuries after her sedan collided with a truck at a major Gold Coast intersection, causing the truck to flip. Police footage tracked the woman driving at significant speeds for approximately 10 minutes from Southport before the crash occurred at Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise. The 42-year-old truck driver sustained minor injuries and is recovering in hospital.
