On today’s show, Shaun Starr and Marco D’Amico break down the cases for Ivan Demidov and Jakub Dobes as legitimate contenders for Rookie of the Year.

Can BOTH Demidov and Dobes finish in the top 3 of Calder voting?

Who has the stronger case to finish second?

And most importantly — who has been more valuable to the Canadiens this season?

We dive into:

Demidov’s offensive impact and upside

Dobes’ importance in net and game-stealing ability

How voters typically view forwards vs goalies

What could swing the final results down the stretch
