Coveted Free Agent On Habs Radar?!
Description
The Montreal Canadiens are reportedly among 15+ NHL teams interested in Belarusian forward Vitali Pinchuk, and for good reason.
At just 24 years old, the 6-foot-3 forward out of Minsk is coming off a 66-point season in 65 games, finishing 3rd in goals and 6th in points in his league — and he’s quickly becoming one of the most intriguing under-the-radar free agent targets.
But what exactly is Pinchuk?
Is he a true center, or does his skillset translate better to the wing at the NHL level? And more importantly… would he actually fit with the Montreal Canadiens?
Shaun Starr and Marco D’Amico break it all down:
What kind of player Pinchuk is (style, strengths, upside)
His projection to the NHL game
Center vs wing debate
Why so many teams are interested
And whether he makes sense for the Habs’ current roster build
Could this be another smart value add by Kent Hughes and the Canadiens?
