En: The autumn leaves of Kirstenbosch Botaniese Tuin glow gold and red in the sunlight.
Af: Tiener Karel stap stadig op die kronkelpaadjies.
En: Teenager Karel walks slowly along the winding paths.
Af: Hy het 'n notaboek in sy hand, sy oë is ingestel op die plante om hom.
En: He has a notebook in his hand, his eyes focused on the plants around him.
Af: Hy's 'n botanis op soek na 'n seldsame spesie.
En: He is a botanist in search of a rare species.
Af: Liesl, aan die ander kant van die tuin, kyk deur haar kamera se lens.
En: Liesl, on the other side of the garden, looks through her camera lens.
