US President Donald Trump says he's ordered the US Navy to block the Strait of Hormuz after peace talks with Iran collapsed.
Iran's been controlling the key oil shipping route and Mr Trump's been calling for it to open the channel.
But with the two countries failing to reach a deal to end the war, the US president now says America will stop all ships from moving through the strait, adding any Iranian vessel that attacks US ships will "be blown to hell."
Iran says it'll view any blockade as a breach of the fragile ceasefire agreed to last week.
