Description
US President Donald Trump says he'll block all ships from moving through the Strait of Hormuz, after failing to reach a deal to end the war with Iran.
Iran's been controlling the key oil shipping route, and Donald Trump's demanded it be opened.
The US and Iran reached a fragile two week ceasefire last week, but fresh talks to end the war have collapsed - with Mr Trump now ordering a blockade of the strait and saying any Iranian ships who fire on US vessels will be "blown to hell."
Iran says it'll see any military vessels approaching the channel as a ceasefire breach, warning the US "if you fight, we will fight."
Meanwhile, Hungary's long serving nationalist prime minister Victor Orban has conceded defeat in the country's election - despite Donald Trump throwing his support behind him.
He's one of Europe's most right wing populist leaders and has been more supportive of Russia than other European countries when it comes to the war with Ukraine.
With Mr Orban having been in power for 16 years, a leadership change is likely to be significant for the future of the region.
And as war in the Middle East continues, Anthony Albanese's heading to Brunei and Malaysia in a bid to tackle the energy crisis.
The two countries are key suppliers of Australian fuel and fertiliser.
The trip comes after the federal government announced a $20 million ad campaign encouraging people to save fuel.
