US President Donald Trump's ordering a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz after peace talks with Iran fell apart.
Iran's been blocking the key oil shipping route since the US attacked, sending global fuel prices soaring.
The two countries reached a fragile two week ceasefire last week, but new talks to end the war collapsed - with Mr Trump now promising to block all ships moving through the channel while blowing Iranian vessels "to hell" if they try to stop the blockade.
Iran says if the US goes ahead with the blockade, it'll fight back.
The failed peace talks also mean there's been no breakthrough for a ceasefire in Lebanon, with Israeli attacks there displacing more than a million people.
Meanwhile, Hungary's right wing prime minister has lost power after 16 years - despite backing from Donald Trump.
Victor Orban was one of Europe's most divisive leaders, a close ally of both Mr Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
His election loss is significant for the future of Europe as Russia's war with Ukraine continues.
And the Prime Minister will travel overseas again this week, to try to shore up Australia's fuel and fertilizer supplies amid the ongoing war in the Middle East.
Anthony Albanese visited Singapore on Friday and is now heading to Brunei and Malaysia.
He says the government is meeting with "key partners to keep our fuel supply flowing."
