The Band Marshull With Lead Vocalist Jared Shoemaker NBC's The Voice
Published 1 week, 1 day ago
Description
A proud Navy veteran, Jared Shoemaker channels the same focus he had in service into his work as a country-rock musician. The 32-year-old began his musical journey playing snare drum in an Irish bagpipe band as a kid, but it was during his military service aboard the USS George H.W. Bush that Jared discovered his voice. After leaving the Navy, Jared worked dismantling chemical weapons before realizing his true calling was music. He picked up the guitar again, formed his band, Marshull, during the pandemic, and has been performing across the Southeast ever since, opening for artists such as Diamond Rio and Colt Ford. A proud veteran, horse lover and country-rock frontman, Jared hopes "The Voice" will give him the chance to share his story and his sound with a wider audience.
