Af: Die lug was dik en grys, 'n deklaag van stof het oor die verlate strate van Kaapstad gelê.
En: The air was thick and gray, a layer of dust lay over the deserted streets of Kaapstad.

Af: Jaco stap stadig vorentoe, met Mariska en Pieter kort agter hom.
En: Jaco walks slowly forward, with Mariska and Pieter close behind him.
