Episode #99--"Babel to Pentecost"--1:1 Conversation with Anthony D'Ambrosio

Season 9 Episode 99

This week’s Say Yes to Holiness 1 on 1 Conversation podcast episode is with Anthony D'Ambrosio, Co-founder of Catholic Creatives, Sherwood Fellows and OSV Innovation Talk speaker.

A lack of vulnerability and the plague of arrogant self-interest destroys relationships. In ministry, like most things, honesty and openness lead to successful mission. Anthony's OSV Innovation Talk, "Babel to Pentecost," walks us through the rawness of Anthony’s life and encourages viewers to be “naked” to one another for purposes of healing and unity.

My conversation with Anthony was deeply profound and rich with much to inspire and encourage each of us on the journey to become "naked" and humble ourselves in our interactions with one another while encountering the full richness of the beauty of our Lord's mercy and forgiveness. Anthony's OSV talk definitely challenged, invited and inspired me to reevaluate my willingness to engage in authentic conversation with others, and to desire and seek out relationships of abundance.

This 1:1 conversation will do the same for you.

Anthony D’Ambrosio is a storyteller and marketing specialist who has spent the last five years studying how communities and movements come together around shared purpose. Through his company Sherwood Fellows, he has participated in relaunching the brands of over a hundred organizations. His team also built Catholic Creatives, the definitive community for Catholic entrepreneurs, artists, designers, and filmmakers. His interests span from philosophy to the mythology and rituals of tribal peoples. He ran an underground fight club in his seminary, and among his favorite things are simmering a pot of homemade Italian red sauce, keeping houseplants alive, and writing poetry.

During our conversation, I was inspired and challenged by Anthony's perspective of encountering beauty, and how vital it is to be able to become vulnerable and behold beauty in others so we can experience forgiveness and healing, but also so we can become the creations God made us to be.

As we prepare to begin Advent, I pray you are inspired to go deeper and become vulnerable so that you may continue doing WHATEVER IT TAKES to set aside inauthentic versions of ourselves and seek to collaborate with others on projects that will transform our world and make it a more resplendent with beauty.
