Cs: Pod temným nebem pražského jara, kdy divoké květiny opatrně prorážely skrz popraskané dlaždice, se Jiří a Kateřina plížili podél ruin.
En: Under the dark sky of the pražského spring, when wildflowers cautiously broke through the cracked tiles, Jiří and Kateřina crept along the ruins.

Cs: Opuštěné budovy vypadaly strašidelně, ale také nabízely stopy dávné slávy.
En: The abandoned buildings looked eerie, but they also offered traces of former glory.

Cs: Oba hledali něco k jídlu na Velikonoce, ale pochmurná situace je nutila být obezřetní a rychlí.
En: Both were looking for something to eat for Easter, but the grim situation forced them to be cautious and quick.

Cs: Jiří, mrštný ale trochu nemotorný, tiše doufal, že najde alespoň pár konzerv.
