Description
On the fifth anniversary of John Lewis’s passing, more than 1,600 demonstrations erupted across all 50 states and abroad under the banner “Good Trouble Lives On.” The protests, led by the 50501 Movement, targeted the Trump administration’s rollback of civil rights and social protections. The flagship rally took place in Chicago, while symbolic protests unfolded in The Villages — Trump’s Florida stronghold.
