A logistics sergeant opened fire at Fort Stewart, one of the largest Army bases in the country, injuring five fellow soldiers. The Army has not released a motive, and leaders from the Pentagon to the White House have been briefed. The shooting is the latest in a troubling pattern of gun violence within U.S. military bases.
