The Supreme Court is taking up one of its most consequential cases in years, examining a 2025 executive order aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants and temporary visitors. The case could redefine the scope of the 14th Amendment and determine who is considered subject to U.S. jurisdiction. A decision is expected by late June.
