A Prayer for When We Begin to Notice Peace

Loving God,

There are moments

when we find ourselves at peace—

not because everything is settled,

but because something within us has.

In these moments,

help us to recognize what is being given.

Not something we have to achieve,

but something we are learning to live within.

Keep us present to this peace,

so that we do not rush past it.

And as we move through our days,

let this steadiness remain—

shaping what we carry,

and how we meet one another.

So that what we receive

might become something we also share.

Amen.
