Predator Jailed for Child Abuse

Published 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Description

Craig Raeburn, a sixty-one-year-old former NHS manager and youth football coach from East Lothian, was sentenced to fourteen years in prison for sexually abusing a young child at a hotel in Barrow, Cumbria. Raeburn, who has a history of child abuse offenses, connected with the victim online and recorded the assaults on his phone. The victim bravely reported the abuse, leading to Raeburns arrest and conviction on five sexual offenses. He was also given a twenty-year sexual harm prevention order, a lifetime on the sex offenders register, and a ban from contacting the victim. Cumbria Police commended the childs courage and urged others to report such crimes.
