He has spent the past 30 years behind the scenes creating some of the world’s most recognizable beats. We’re talking beats for Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are,” Dr. Dre’s “Xxplosive,” Wu-Tang Clan’s “7th Chamber,” Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Brooklyn Zoo,” D’Angelo’s “Brown Sugar,” Sprite and Infiniti commercials, MCNBC documentaries, and movies and TV like Netflix’s “Luke Cage,” “Limitless” and “Never Back Down.” 

They are all from his early 1990s drum loop records, Funky Drummer Vols. 1 & II. He also discusses being mentored by Cameo's Larry Blackmon and working with that band during the 1970s, as well as touring as New Edition's drummer during the 1980s.
