The price of consciousness is you can't pretend anymore. Awakening makes life harder before it makes it easier.

We all wear masks, especially when younger. I had a lot of sexual energy as a kid—being transparent. Adults aren't fully awake yet, forcing children to take life seriously. God wrote the book of truth on your heart. Christ: "eyes to see and ears to hear"—every human has eyes and ears, so what was he saying? Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Ignorance is bliss but it's false bliss. Christ said "get behind me, Satan" to his own disciples. God made the devil for fun—creation is humorous.

You need people to flip burgers too. Everyone's where they're meant to be. Don't take people for granted—give gifts, hugs, handwritten letters. Buy flowers. Every choice becomes conscious, and that's exhausting until you accept it.

Listen if you're ready to stop wishing you could go back. Once you're awake, you're responsible for everything you now see. The price is high, but staying asleep costs you everything.
