Episode Details

Jesus took Peter, James, and John into an inner place of suffering and prayer. He told them his soul was exceeding sorrowful, even unto death. He asked them to watch with him. They wanted to, but they couldn't. Their eyes were heavy because the battle was deeper than anything they'd ever faced. Jesus was not measuring devotion. He was just revealing reality. Human strength cannot sustain spiritual warfare. When Jesus returned, Scripture said they had no excuses left. They had nothing to say. God brings us to this place so we stop trusting in ourselves. When self-strength collapses, divine strength can finally take over. Don't fear the fire that exposes your weakness. Let it lead you to a dependence on Christ alone. Remember that the end of me is the beginning of God. Let that be your day today. It's time to pray.
